Pequenos tesouros / Little treasures

Eu sei! São lindos demais não são? Adoro estas pequenas surpresas. Uma senhora muito, muito simpática partilhou comigo o que são agora lembranças de todos os trabalhos de costura que fez ao longo dos anos... Eu sei! Sortuda mesmo! :D

I know! They're gorgeous aren't they? I just love these little surprises. A really, really nice lady, out of the kindness of her heart, decided to share with me what are now just memories of all the sewing she did over the years... I know! I'm a really lucky gall! :D

Deixou-me vasculhar por caixas e caixinhas e malinhas e pacotinhos de centenas e centenas de botões! Heaven! Ok, admito que tive que me controlar um bocadinho para não dar ar de louca, mas a vontade era de encher a bolsa e tudo o que apanhasse à mão e trazer comigo! :D

She let me scavenge through boxes and little boxes and little cases and little bags of hundreds and hundreds of buttons! Heaven! Ok, i admit I had to control myself a bit so that I didn't look completely crazy, but all I could think was to fill my purse with all those treasures and run! :D

Então lá seleccionei alguns (foi tão difícil!), para não abusar, mas os que lá ficaram... suspiro...

So I managed to select a few (that was so hard!), but the ones I left behind... sigh...

Bom, parece-me que o que me resta fazer é arranjar um motivo para lá voltar! E trazer comigo mais alguns tesouros. Ah! E claro que posso partilhar alguns com vocês apreciadoras de botões! Eu sei que vocês me compreendem. E também sei que estão mortinhas por ver estas doçuras mais de perto! Vossos desejos são ordens! Cá estão eles:

Well, it seems to me that I just have to come up with a good reason to go back there and bring to me a few more treasures! Oh! And of course that I can share some of them with you, you button lovers! I know you get me! And I also know that you're dying to see these cutie-pies a bit closer right? Your wishes are my commands! Here they are:

On my Valentine's weekend I...

... did a lot of this...

... and then some more...

... drove through this...

... and got a little bit lost somewhere around here...

... ended up here...

... and went back to do some more of this...

... in between just sat there and enjoyed the view...
